Raq.com
New Custom modules, built and maintained for you

Bespoke software built for your company, inside Raq.com

$259 a month gets you a developer subscription and the software that comes out of it. Tell us what your business needs, we design and build it, and it appears in your Raq.com account beside the other tools. Your team just uses it.

No developer to hire. No code for you to write. No AI coding tool to babysit.

Mockup in one working day
Working module in five working days or less
Changes built as you ask for them
Built into the 65+ tools you already have

What the subscription covers

One monthly price for the design, the build, the hosting and every change after that.

A module shaped around your work

Not a template you bend to fit. We build to your stages, your fields, your job numbers and the names your team already uses. If your process is unusual, that is the point.

We write the code

Real software, built by our developers and reviewed before it reaches you. You are not left holding a half-working prototype from a coding tool that nobody understands.

It lives in Raq.com

Same login, same team, same permissions as the 65+ tools you already have. Your module can read and write the rest of your account, so it fits with your tasks, files, documents and automations instead of sitting to one side. It gets MCP built in as well, so Claude, ChatGPT or your own agents can use it the way they already use every other Raq.com module.

It connects to what you already run

Most companies do not want to throw everything out. If your accounts, payroll, CRM or supplier systems have an API, your module can read from them and write back to them, so it augments what you have. Where you would rather be rid of something, it replaces it instead and we import the data.

It runs the whole workflow

Not just screens to type into. Approvals, reminders, emails, documents and hand-offs run from the module, and Raq.com Automations can trigger off what happens in it, so the process moves without somebody remembering to chase it.

Changes by ticket

When you want something different, you send a ticket in plain words. Most changes are built and live in your account that day or the next, with no quote to approve first.

Where it lives

In your sidebar, next to everything else.

Your team does not learn a second system or log in anywhere new. Your module opens in the same window as Task Board, CRM and the rest, with your own screens inside it.

Four different trades, four different modules. Whatever your company does all day, that is what yours would be about, customised to the way you work.

How it works

From your brief to a working module in under a week.

Then it keeps changing for as long as you subscribe.

Step 1

You describe what you need

Add the module on your billing page and write a short brief. Who uses it, what they do every day, what it has to replace. A spreadsheet or a rambling paragraph is plenty.

Step 2

A mockup in one working day

You see the screens and the flow before anything is built properly. Tell us what is wrong and we change it. Nothing gets built on a guess.

Step 3

Working in five working days or less

We build it out from the approved mockup and turn it on in your account. Your team logs in as normal and it is there in the sidebar. That is the usual pace; something genuinely large takes longer and we tell you at the mockup.

Step 4

You keep changing it

Real use always turns up things you did not think of. Send a ticket and we build it, usually the same day, for the same monthly price.

What people ask for

Usually the job a spreadsheet is doing badly.

Or the software you were quoted five figures for. These are the modules businesses come to us with.

CRM for your pipeline

Your stages, your qualification questions, your reporting, without paying per seat for features nobody uses.

Job and project management

Jobs, sites, engineers, materials and sign-off in the order your business actually does them.

Quoting and estimating

Your price book and your margin rules, producing the quote document you already send.

Scheduling and dispatch

Who is where, what is booked, what moved and who needs telling.

Stock and equipment tracking

What you hold, what is out on loan, what needs servicing and what is missing.

Client portals

A place for your customers to see their own jobs, documents and approvals.

Approval workflows

Purchase requests, timesheets or content going through the right people in the right order.

Reporting dashboards

The numbers your management meeting actually asks for, built from your own data.

Getting off an old system

Import the data out of the software you are stuck with and carry on working.

Your one is not on this list

Internal tools rarely are. Describe the job in your own words and we will send back a mockup of how it could work.

What it costs

One price, whatever we end up building.

$259 /month

Per custom module. Cancel at the end of any billing period.

Included

  • Design and mockups
  • The whole build, with no separate project fee
  • Hosting, updates and maintenance

Worth knowing

  • You need a Raq.com plan as well. The custom module is added on top of it.

  • Need a second module? Add another one at the same price. They can share data.
  • Your data stays in your account and you can export it whenever you want.
The alternatives

The other ways to get custom software

Route What it costs Who keeps it running Getting a change made
Hire a developer A salary, or a day rate that passes $259 in half a day You do, including hosting and cover when they leave Depends who is free
An agency build A project fee up front, then a support retainer Them, while the retainer runs Change request, quote, schedule
Build it yourself with AI coding tools Cheap in licences, expensive in your own hours You do, and you own every bug You go back in and try again
Off-the-shelf software Per user, per month, forever The vendor Ask, then wait for a roadmap that serves everyone else too

Before you ask

Questions

One area of work with its own screens and data. A CRM is one module. A quoting tool is another. If your brief really covers two separate jobs we will say so before we build, and you can decide whether to add a second module.
We tell you within a working day and cancel the subscription, so you are not paying for something that is not coming. Hardware installs, regulated payment handling and anything needing a third party we have no access to are the usual limits.
No. Most people start with a spreadsheet and a description of the problem. The mockup exists so you can react to something concrete rather than specify it up front.
Yes. Your module can work with your tasks, documents, files, contacts and automations, and your team permissions apply to it like any other tool.
As many as you like. In practice people send a burst of changes in the first few weeks, then a few a month. If a request is genuinely a second module rather than a change, we will tell you.
The data is yours and stays in your account, exportable at any time. We maintain the module for you while you subscribe.
The module keeps working until the end of the billing period, then it is switched off. Export your data before that and it is yours to keep.
Yes, with no extra charge for the module. Your Raq.com plan covers your seats as usual.

Tell us what your business needs

Add the custom module on your billing page, write a few lines about the job it has to do, and you will have a mockup to look at within one working day.
