Introducing Time Tracker in Raq.com

Time Tracker stores work in seconds. An hour and thirty five minutes bills as an hour and thirty five minutes, not as 1.58 hours on an invoice line. Start a timer, review the week, approve it, and the invoice comes out of the hours that were signed off.

Ask your assistant to start it

Say you are starting on the client redesign and the timer starts. Ask what you have logged today and it reads the entries back. Finish a call, say it ran ninety minutes, and the entry is waiting when you next open the module. That works through Supercomputer or any assistant connected over MCP. The timer bar sits at the top of every screen if you'd rather click.

One timer runs at a time, whatever you have open. Switching jobs stops one and starts the next. If your laptop sleeps mid-session, the stop still lands on the session it belongs to when you come back.

The week, then the invoice

Timesheet is a Monday to Sunday grid. Type 1h 30m, 90m or 1:30 and it reads all three. Submit the week and it goes to whoever reviews that project, with the warnings visible before they sign anything off: billable time on a fixed fee project, work with no rate against it, days that look thin. Approved time locks.

Billing lists what has been approved and not yet invoiced. Pick a project, check the preview, create the draft. It lands in Invoice Generator with every line traceable back to the entries behind it. Void it and those hours are released.

Rates are dated

Set a rate for the account, then a different one for a project or a person. The rate that applies is the one in force on the day the work happened, so raising your rates in April leaves March's approved work alone.

Time logged on a Task Board card lands in the same ledger. Project Base holds the client, the currency, the budget and whether the project is time and materials, fixed fee or a retainer. Reports group by person, project, activity, day or billable state, keep each currency separate, and export to CSV.
