Server Monitor: Lightweight Load and Heartbeat Tracking

Server Monitor keeps a steady eye on the servers and scripts that keep your business running. A lightweight agent reports live load, CPU, memory, disk, and process counts. A heartbeat endpoint catches anything that should run on a schedule, from cron jobs to nightly backups, and tells you the moment it goes quiet.

Two ways to watch a server

Add a server monitor and choose a type. Server Load installs a tiny agent that reports system metrics every minute without exposing sensitive process data. Heartbeat gives you a URL to ping from any script, cron job, or deploy hook, with an optional numeric value and short comment for context.

One command installs the agent. Copy and paste the provided script, run it, and your server starts reporting. There is no agent to configure, no ports to open, and no inbound connections to worry about.

Works with any MCP assistant

Server Monitor is fully exposed through MCP, so any connected assistant can create monitors, fetch the latest snapshot, list incidents, and schedule maintenance on your behalf. Ask "is the API server healthy?" and get a plain answer. Ask "add a heartbeat for the nightly backup, alert if it does not ping by 4am" and it is set up in seconds. The same works from Launchpad, WhatsApp agents through OpenClaw, or any other MCP-connected assistant.

Thresholds that match your hardware

Every server is different. Set thresholds for load, CPU, memory, swap, disk, inodes, and process counts per monitor. A small worker box and a busy database server need very different alert levels, and Server Monitor lets each one have its own.

Incidents open and close themselves

When a threshold is breached, or a heartbeat stops arriving, an incident opens automatically. It records what tripped, when, and what the readings looked like at the time. Once the server recovers or the script pings again, the incident resolves itself and a quiet recovery is logged.

Maintenance windows

Schedule planned work in advance and alerts stay quiet for the duration. Monitoring continues in the background, so you can still confirm the server came back healthy after the reboot, deploy, or kernel upgrade.

Server Monitor is included with every plan. Higher plans give you more servers and shorter check intervals. Start your free trial and hook up your first server. No credit card required.
