Introducing Sockt: see what any website is built with
Sockt is live today. Type in a website and it tells you what the site runs: the CMS, the shop platform, analytics, advertising, payments, hosting and the rest of the stack, with when each tool was first and last seen.
The index covers 28.9 million websites and 5,859 technologies at launch. You can browse public profiles and technology pages at sockt.com without an account, and the full module is in Raq.com from today.
Look up a website
A lookup groups a site's technologies by category and shows how each one was found, in the page HTML, a script, a header, a cookie and so on, with a confidence score. Paid plans keep the underlying evidence, so you can check a detection instead of taking it on trust. You also get the company's name, industry and country where we can estimate them, clearly labelled as estimates, plus similar websites.
Build lists by technology
The list builder works the other way round. Pick the technologies a site must use, must not use, or any of a set, then narrow by country, industry, TLD or site rank. Shopify shops in the UK. WordPress sites using HubSpot. Magento stores that don't have Klaviyo yet.
Save a list, share it with your team or behind a password, export it as CSV, or push the companies into Raq.com CRM and Task Board. Bulk lookup checks up to 1,000 of your own domains in one go, and compare lines two or more websites up side by side.
Watch for changes
Add websites to monitoring and Sockt records when a technology appears or disappears, filtered by technology and date if you only care about some of them. A prospect moving from Magento to Shopify, or a customer dropping your competitor's tool, shows up in your feed and by notification.
API and agents
Everything in the module is available through a REST API with personal keys, and through 42 MCP tools, so a connected agent can search the index, build and share lists, run exports and watch domains on your behalf. Counts and the technology catalogue are free on every plan, API included.
Where the data comes from
Profiles are built from large public web archives, topped up by our own crawler, which identifies itself and follows robots.txt. We check accuracy by hand on samples, and the write-up is at sockt.com/data. If one of the 28.9 million sites is yours and you would rather it wasn't listed, there's an opt-out on every profile.
Pricing
Sockt has its own subscription beside your Raq.com plan. The free tier works on every account: 25 website lookups a month and previews of any list. Basic is £55.79 a month for one seat, 10,000 exported websites and 100 monitored sites. Pro is £93.61 with 50,000 exports. Team is £188.16 for five seats and 250,000 exports. Yearly billing is ten times the monthly price, and exporting a website again in the same month is free. Full limits are on the Sockt pricing page.
If you joined the waitlist, thanks for waiting: it's open now. Everyone else can start with the free tier and look up their first website in about a minute.
