Personas: @mention Devil's Advocate in Your Next Meeting
Personas are AI characters with their own voice, tone, and system prompt. Describe who you want and the AI researches and builds the character for you.
The AI builds the character
Give Personas a subject and it does the work: researches the person or archetype, writes a detailed system prompt, and picks an appropriate tone. You review the result before saving. It works especially well for real people, historical figures, and fictional characters.
Good thinking often needs a second voice. A few examples of what you can create:
- Devil's Advocate: challenges every assumption until the idea is genuinely battle-ready.
- Critic: specific, direct, and unafraid to say something fails.
- First Principles: strips every problem to its foundations and reasons upward from scratch.
- ELI5: explains anything in plain words, short sentences, zero jargon.
- Contrarian: questions the consensus and surfaces what the crowd is ignoring.
@mention them in Team Comms
Every persona can be @-mentioned in any Team Comms channel. Type @Devil's Advocate and it replies in character. Use them to pressure-test ideas, get blunt feedback, or think out loud with something that pushes back.
One model per persona
Assign each persona its own AI model. Creative characters can use generative models; analytical ones can use reasoning models. The setting sticks so you never have to switch manually.
