The agent layer

Agent access is part of the product, not a chatbot bolted on.

Raq exposes its tools to compatible agents through the Model Context Protocol. An agent gets structured operations — list a board, create a card, upload a file, run an image batch, read a project record — instead of imitating clicks in a browser.

Your team writes, manages, uploads, reviews, approves, edits and inspects in normal interfaces. Role-based access and audit records show who did what — whether the actor was a person or an agent.

Custom Tools run isolated

Each tool runs in its own container. Draft tools stay with their creator; published tools can be shared with the account, and outbound access back into Raq uses approved, limited scopes. This route suits a customer who can direct and maintain the build.

Custom Modules are a managed service

Describe the workflow and Raq reviews it. When it is a good fit you get a first mock-up — normally within one working day — and a working module within five working days or less after approval. Larger jobs are identified at the mock-up stage.

Your data stays yours

A module can use the account's tasks, files, contacts, documents and Automations, and connect to outside systems that provide an API. Customer data stays in the account and can be exported. One module covers one area of work; a second module is a second monthly fee, and modules on the same account can share data.

Privacy & security

Clear about how AI data is handled.

Core text and chat requests use Zero Data Retention routes by default, so the model provider cannot keep prompts or responses for training. Raq states that it does not train models on customer content.

Worth knowing

Image, video, voice and transcription tools send the prompt, generation parameters or audio needed for the job to specialist providers, which operate under their own API retention terms. The Zero Data Retention statement applies to core text AI, not to every media tool. Live web search has its own setting, because a current-information lookup may need a standard provider route.

For regulated or sensitive data, read the current Privacy Policy, AI Privacy & Security page and Subprocessors list, then map your own legal and sector requirements onto the tools you plan to use.

An honest fit

Raq is not trying to be the deepest tool in every category.

The public comparisons describe overlapping workflows, not exact replacements. The value is the breadth of useful tools, the shared account and the agent layer across them.

A good fit if you are…

  • A small team that wants fewer separate subscriptions and logins
  • Already using Codex, Claude Code or other agents for operational work
  • An agency managing several client accounts and projects
  • An operator who needs human approvals and an inspectable record of agent activity
  • A business with an awkward spreadsheet or internal process that suits a Custom Module
  • A team needing a broad set of occasional tools without buying a specialist product for each one

Probably not the whole answer if you…

  • Need the deepest feature set of a mature specialist system
  • Run a fixed enterprise stack that cannot expose APIs
  • Must meet a regulatory requirement not yet validated against Raq's current controls

In those cases Raq can still sit around the existing system through Automations, APIs or a Custom Module — but the connection and compliance work need proper assessment.

Pricing

Per user. Every public tool included.

AI usage and service limits increase with the plan. Different tools consume different amounts — a short rewrite, a multi-model report and a generated video have very different provider costs — so Raq shows AI work as account usage rather than exposing internal credit accounting.

New accounts get a free trial with no card required — one use of each AI tool and limited monitoring. If the monthly AI allowance runs out, AI tools pause until renewal or a plan change; non-AI tools remain part of the subscription. Monitoring tools and FinUK have plan-specific quantity limits. Voice Calls starts on Professional. Website Build & Host is a paid per-site add-on on Starter and includes an increasing number of sites on higher plans.

Prices exclude VAT where applicable. Upgrade at once, or schedule a downgrade for the next billing date. The total changes as users join or leave the account.
